We all need something to "hang on" to, something to found our lives in!
I believe everybody believe in something. The problem is that not everything is in accordance with the real life truth. We might have subjective believes about the truth and life-foundations, but we need the OBJECTIVE view of life such as only a steady base for moral values and life-filosophy about cosmos can provide.
A life-moral cannot develop out of nothing, without having a firm source from somewhere. Otherwise it should depend on the individuals that should differentiate from each other in every case, enough to create serious diversities even from a small angle of difference in the beginning, to become huge as the line draws out.
MY suggestion is for everyone to see for themselves what the good words in the biblical scriptures have to provide, since someone claims there is only ONE truth about life, not many (if so where, many self-destructive opinions raising from for example the hallucinations of drug-abuse should be valid, but if they are contradictory to other values or even themselves, then it wouldn't be possible for them to co-exist in harmony without conflict and eventually war between interests founded on the shaky ground of DIFFERENT subjective values. Therefore we need a mutual foundation of value(s) to co-exist in the long run).
What is that ONE truth and who is that SOMEONE that has given us a trustworthy foundation to stand on and take a common view-point from? -Well, as many have already guessed, there can only be one person, not a philosopher nor a political leader, not a "religious" leader (they all contradict one another) or any other limited species descending from mankind that could have the proper kvalifications for that universal task. It has to be someone omniscient and omnipotent to provide enough knowledge and power to maintain a huge as task like this, I would say it has to be the Creator of the Universe Himself to manage this. Another name for Him is God, manifested through His Son Jesus Christ in a human body on earth, to be able to identify with us as mankind and carry our sins up to God almighty so that through the mutual understanding of reconciliation we could give our lives to Him and receive forgiveness for our trespasses as well as become completely recovered and restored from our iniquities in His divine name, as He cleanses us with His precious blood coming from His death in our place at the cross that from now on gives us strenght and complete meaning and purpose with life! From there we got a moral value to stand on through His divine Words in the Holy Bible, inspired directly from Him Almighty!!!
